We are a group of coffee buddies who have a dream and we would like you to help us make our dream come true. All we need from you is a piece of your land that we can keep forever and use for our dream, and a large donation of cash.

Here's the story: A bunch of us have been getting together every few weeks for several years to talk about stuff, and we have decided we want to build a dream home. We are not really sure how we came to that conclusion, because we don't keep notes or anything when we get together to chat. That's because we like to keep our discussions sort of organic and free flowing. We don't want to restrict them with agendas or records because that would stifle our creativity. However, we are all very clear that we want to build a brand new, nothing-but-the-best, technologically advanced, ecologically friendly, fantastic dream home.

We don't know where the dream home should be located, but your land would probably do just fine. We haven't decided how big the home should be, or even if the government bylaws will let us build it, but we really want to do it, so it should be okay. After all, we have talked about it for such a long time, it must be a good idea. We don't really know what the dream house should look like either, but a nice lady has done a pretty drawing of a house that we all think is very cool, so we will probably build it like that. We don't know when we might be able to build the dream home, and so we have no idea what it will actually cost, but some totally good people have already donated a couple of dollars towards it, and we know you will make a generous donation, so money should be no problem.

We haven't yet sorted out who will live in the house, or if anyone would even want to live in it, but surely someone will. If someone does decide to live in it, they would probably pay us a little rent money for it. We don't know how much rent they would pay us, and we have almost no idea what it would cost to maintain a dream house, but are confident it will all work out. We haven't bothered to ask the bank if they would lend us any money, because we are quite sure we won't need to borrow any. After all, some awfully nice people, whose names we don't know, have said they would probably make donations to help with the cost of our dream house. We don't know exactly how much they would give us, or when they would give it, or if they might want to be paid back, but we think it would be rude to ask them for specific details.

It is pretty neat how we were able to create the idea for this dream house because we are just a bunch of people who like to chat together, and we seem to agree on most things. Well, most things, anyhow. We have had a little trouble figuring out who is actually in charge of our group, and we have changed our minds about that quite a lot lately, but we find it really helps if we only work with a small group of people and don't tell anyone else what we are doing. It is quite brilliant, actually, because if you include too many people, they all have different opinions, and all think their opinions are valuable and should be heard, and it just takes a lot of time and makes it so hard to get things done.

None of us in our group of coffee buddies have ever done anything like this before, so it is all very exciting. No one in the group has any experience in building or managing a dream home either, and none of us really have the skills needed, but our hearts are pure and we know everyone will just love it when it is done. When our dream home is finished, it will be a place where everyone can come together, and share, and feel good about things. It will be wonderful!
